Dustin & Sarah | Lifestlye Session

Meet Dustin and Sarah, just about one of the cutest couples ever. They got married last year and are stationed in San Diego for while, which I’m excited for because I foresee lots of baking and cooking dates with Sarah. We have so much in common and we’re excited to get to know them more. Sarah and Dustin made this session so easy. They radiate love and it is so evident, especially the way they look at each other…I mean HOW CUTE ARE THEY?! And their dog Mia is just plain adorable. It’s so refreshing getting to hang out with couples like them because it awakens my creative heart.

Marc & Jordan | Los Gatos Engagement Session

Justin and I had the pleasure of hanging out with Marc and Jordan on Monday to shoot their engagement session. It was so great getting to know this couple and we’re so excited for their wedding next June!

Jake & Carmen | Piedmont Private Estate Wedding

Jake and Carmen are a one of a kind couple. These two will always keep you laughing! The two of them both graduated from Yale and now work for Teach for America in Mississippi. We have yet to hang out with this awesome couple in the same state more than once. We met them in Seattle, shot their engagement session in Mississippi and then their wedding in California. We all share a love for Catan which makes me even more sad that they live so far away.

Jake and Carmen’s wedding was simply gorgeous. It took place at her aunt and uncle’s estate in Piedmont, CA. AMAZING! Everything about it was stunning, including Carmen herself. These two radiate love and seeing the way Jake loves his bride is incredible. We loved every minute of this wedding from the first look to all the Yale traditions like the passing of the trophy that everyone drinks out of. We couldn’t stop laughing with this crowd. Oh and did I mention there were only 70 guests…MY FAVORITE! We LOVE small weddings. They’re so sweet and intimate and it feels like a big family gathering. It was so fun getting to hang out with all their friends and family and feel so welcomed. I’m so sad the day is over because I don’t know when we’ll get to see these two love birds again. Maybe we’ll just take another trip to good ole MS to play some Catan.

Jake and Carmen, we could not be more happy for the two of you. Thank you so much for making us feel like family on your big day. We’re so excited you’ve joined the married club! Love you guys!

Brian & Tori | Big Basin Engagement Session

Justin and I got to spend the evening with Brian and Tori up at Big Basin on Labor Day. It was my first time going and now I’m in love! I’ll definitely be going back to go camping. It’s so beautiful there.

Aren’t these two adorable!? And can we all just take a moment to swoon over Tori’s hair? It’s NA-TU-RAL! Seriously girl..you are blessed! We can’t wait for their wedding in less than two weeks!

Rick & Sheala | Handlery Resort Wedding

Sheala and I went to middle school and high school together…and now she’s MARRIED! It’s crazy how fast time goes by. Rick and Shealas’ wedding was so much fun! Let me just say that they know how to get down on the dance floor. It was so great getting to spend the day with their friends and family. I love the way that Rick loves and takes care of Sheala.
